The Student Scout and Guide Organisation (SSAGO) is open to anyone at a higher education institution who is interested in the aims, objectives, and methods of The Scout Association and Girlguiding UK.
Most universities and colleges in the UK have a SSAGO club, and Exeter is no different. Most SSAGO clubs meet at least once a week during term time, with activities being broadly classified into three categories: adventure, social, and community. SSAGO also provides a link to local Scouting and Guiding to enable members to continue or begin working within their section whilst at university.
SSAGO hosts three national rallies (camps) a year, as well as one national formal ball. These are excellent places to meet up with old and make new friends from clubs all across the UK whilst taking part in a whole host of exciting activities.
